Conveyance from David Booth to Solomon Hoggatt - for 100 acres of Land
This Indenture made this twenty second day of August one thousand Eight hundred and five, Between David Booth of the State of Tennessee and County of Greene of the one part, and Solemon Hoggatt of teh County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the Said Booth for an in Consideration of the Sum of two hundred Dollars in hand paid by the said Hoggat to said Booth, have Given, Granted, bargained, Sold, allined and Confirmed unto the said Hoggatt a tract or parcel of Land Containing one hundred acres, Including the house and Improvements where Said Booth now lives. Begining at a pine, thence East one hundred and Sixteen poles to a white oak. Thence North three and a half west one hundred and thirty six poles to a post oak, thence West one hundred and Sixteen poles to a Stake. Thence to the Begining. To have and to hold the Said tract of Land with all and every of the Appurtenances to the Said Solomon Hoggatt his heirs and assigns forever, to the only proper use and benefit of him, the said Hoggatt, his heirs and assigns forever against the claim interest title, or demand of him the said Booth, and lastly - the said David Booth doth forever Warrant and Defend the aforesaid tract of land hereditaments and appertenances hereby granted unto the said Solomon Hoggatt, his heirs and assigns forever from him the said David Booth, his heirs and assigns forever or from any other person or persons claiming under him or them. In witness, the said David Booth doth for himself and his heirs set his hand and affix his seal the day and year above written.

It is further to be remembered that if ever said Hoggatt Should Loose the above mentioned tract of Land by any other Claim said David Booth obliges himself and his heirs and every of them to pay Back to said Solomon Hoggatt or his heirs two hundred dollars in trade rated as done at 2/m? bushel.

Bond - Howel Thomason to Anthony Hoggatt and Susannah, his wife.
Whereas the said Anthony Hoggat has this day sold unto Howel Thomason These certain tracts of land in Greene County on the Horse Stamp fork of Lick Creek, Joining lands with Lee Walker, James McCollum and Doty's and others Estimated at one hundred and twenty eight acres for four hundred and fifty dollars for which payment the said Howel Thomason doth covenant and bind himself unto the said Anthony Hoggat to Support and maintain the said Anthony Hoggatt and his wife, Susannah Hoggat during their natural life or as long as they may live. Now if the above Bounded Howel Thomason, his heirs or Executors or administrators, do and shall well and truly desently and comfortly support and maintain the said Anthony Hoggat and his wife Susanna Hoggat and find them in deasent and comfortable wearing appearel and a good and Comfortable house to live in during their natural life time or as long as they may live, now if the said Anthony Hoggatt should die or depart this life before his wife, Susanna Hoggat, in that Case if there remains any personal Estate in his hands at his death, it is to remain with his wife to use it in any manner or dispose of it as she sees or thinks proper and the said Thomason is to have no control or disposal thereof without the order of said Hoggat or his wife, Susanna after his death. Now if the said Howel Thomason, his heirs, Executors or administrators shall comply with the written named requirements, then the above obligation to be void, other wise to be in full force and virtue in law.
